i am also unhappy with the watermark.. ruins the image but i am tired of seeing my photos on sale by different individuals on web... do you have a suggestion?

one great russian designer crazy about quality and typography says make small VERTICAL watermarks and write your last name only. this way it won't attract that much of viewer's attention

i'd suggest you didn't use any watermark at all like the pros do

that russian designer is very right in every sense and if you ask me i have the same opinion however this deviantart and online communities are terrible for the art theifs as i have told you... so i use the images without any watermarks in my flash website because its harder to steals... however deviantart has a search engine which serves yahoo so one (even the russian designers, if they donot have any good russian hacker friends) should use a grand watermark if you ask me... by the way i am a pro myself dont tell anyone ; )

cool sites by the way..

Sorry if I sounded like don't consider you a pro photographer, which you really are...
Well, if that bothers you so much, go with the watermark.

I doubt though that anyone will ever make any money of your deviantart uploads because they're downsized to just 650px.
